To integrate immersive activities in to your life, make building them in your routine a priority. You can schedule these activities as appointments on your calendar like you would other commitments. Think of them as beneficial to your health as exercise, nutrition and sleep!
To find immersive activities that are a good fit for you, think about things you love to do- where you lose track of time. These can be creative pursuits like playing an instrument or painting, cooking or baking, spending time in nature, going to the movies or a theatre performance, wellness practice like meditation that integrates sound, attending a workshop of your choice. Be sure to minimize your distractions during this time- turn off your phone, close the computer. Make sure to focus on enjoying the process itself and not the result!
